AONB Management Plan
The Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 (CRoW Act) requires local authorities to review management plans for AONBs every five years. The 2018-23 Management Plan is currently being revised and consultations have been undertaken with the public and Partnership (deadline was 21 May 2018).
On Saturday 24 March 2018 John Grant, Environment section editor, wrote an article to launch the public consultation, summarising what the Plan is seeking to do. You can read the article here.
This is the DRAFT MANAGEMENT PLAN (post consultation, Aug 2018) for you to look at.
As part of the Strategic Environmental Assessment of the Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB Management Plan 2018-2013 you are invited to make comments on the draft Environment report by noon on 28 Sept 2018.

The 2013-18 plan details the work to be carried out during the period 2013-18 to care for the AONB. 26 organisations signed a commitment to implement the plan, and share a common vision for the long term care of the AONB.
