AONB Management Plan

The Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 (CRoW Act) requires local authorities to review management plans for AONBs every five years.

The 2018-23 Management Plan is currently being revised and consultations have been undertaken with the public and Partnership (deadline 21 May). If you have missed the deadline but still wish to offer comments please contact SCHAONB@suffolk.gov.uk

On Saturday 24 March 2018 John Grant, Environment section editor, wrote an article to launch the public consultation. You can read the article here.

This is the DRAFT MANAGEMENT PLAN for you to look at.

The 2013-18 plan details the work to be carried out during the period 2013-18 to care for the AONB. 26 organisations have signed a commitment to implement the plan, and share a common vision for the long term care of the AONB.
