Community and Conservation Fund (CCF)
The Community and Conservation Fund (CCF) is our own AONB fund. It primarily grows from our partnership with local businesses – the AONB Supporters – who raise money on our behalf to support grass roots conservation, access and education projects in the Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB. It is also into this fund that all our other donations find their way from individuals or organisations.
This is a small grant programme, of typically about £500/£600. To support larger-scale projects we have the Sustainable Development Fund, the Amenity and Accessibility Fund, the Galloper Wind Farm Fund and the Suffolk Secrets AONB Fund.
Our CCF grants are usually available for the year from April to March the following year, with the application deadline being in the spring. If you have an enquiry for a small grant please contact us at any time, as it may be that we can consider applications that have merit throughout the year. For reference, guidelines and the application form are available below. For more information and advice about CCF, and to discuss project ideas, please contact AONB Funding Officer Cathy Smith (01394 445225).
