Volunteering - Learn More
Do you have some spare time to help care for the Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB, or to help enable others to enjoy it?
If so, we would love to hear from you. Our Volunteer scheme has now been running for more than four years. Volunteers are an invaluable resource for the AONB, enabling us to carry out important work that we would otherwise be unable to achieve.
There are numerous areas of work where you can become involved, including:
- Becoming a Coast and Estuary Warden - read about Ron Baker's experience here.
- Taking part in local Beachwatch and Beachwatch Big Weekend events
- Helping us to practically manage the land as part of one of our work parties - read about Michelle Hearn's experience here.
- Helping us to 'Free the Trees'! - learn more here
Full training and guidance will be given before undertaking any area of work.
