New photography project thanks to the National Lottery

It is thanks to all the National Lottery players that Dedham Vale and Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB) can mark their 50th Anniversary with an amazing photography project.

With the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, who awarded £129,000 across both AONBs, we are launching a photography initiative, Landscape Lens.

Landscape Lens will encourage residents and tourists to celebrate the landscape whilst leaving a legacy of images for future generations. This catalogue of images will help evaluate and plan for future conservation, allowing everyone to play their part in nature recovery.

Louise Dover, AONB Natural Heritage Officer who will over see the project added: “This is an amazing project, and we are really excited to mark this important milestone with both residents and visitors, as we all celebrate the unique landscape that is Dedham Vale and Suffolk Coast & Heath AONB”

Without the support of the #NationalLottery and all the #NationalLotteryPlayers Landscape Lens would not be possible.

So, from everyone at the Dedham Vale and Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB team, “Thank You”.
