Grants open for applications

Each year the Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is proud to open several grants schemes that fund local community projects.  Two grants are now open for applications! 

The AONB is seeking applications from community projects that are innovative, socially inclusive, sustainable, that benefit the public and involve partnership working. 

Whether you have a project that works in the arts, media, conservation, learning, heritage, food, health, accessibility, and diversity, to give you but a few examples, we welcome your applications.    

The following grants are now open for applications:

o          Amenity and Accessibility Fund – For projects in a defined geographical area within the Coast & Heaths AONB (see map). Applications to be received by 3rd March 2021 for projects running between April 2021 and end of March 2022

o          Galloper Wind Farm Fund – For projects within 5km radius of a substation, including Leiston and surrounding parishes (see map).  Applications to be received by 3rd March 2021 for projects running between April 2021 and end of March 2022

Each grant offers funding to projects which benefit a specific geographic area and meet the criteria based around improving the area’s beauty, setting, amenity, accessibility, or enjoyment of the area.
