Bailey Bridge to reopen after refurbishment works

Bailey Bridge, which connects Southwold and Walberswick, will reopen on Monday 27th September 2021.

The bridge will be reopened on Monday 27 September 2021. Minor works will be taking place under the bridge, however with minimal impact to members of public. 

Refurbishment work has been taking place to Bailey Bridge that crosses the River Blyth and is part of the Sandlings Walk, from July to September 2021.

Suffolk Highways teams would like to say a massive thank you to all involved and to the local residents and businesses for their continued support and patience.
