The accessible footpath on the River Deben in Woodbridge

The Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape is a rural, working and living landscape that has some of the most breathtaking scenery in England.

There are a number of public transport links connecting the area to towns in Suffolk and Essex, such as Ipswich, Lowestoft, Colchester and Manningtree.

The Way to Go Suffolk website is a great way to plan your journeys in and around Suffolk on public transport, with the TravelEssex app offering the same service for Essex.

Whilst there are some locations that are harder to access due to their remote locations, there are several accessible routes that are suitable for wheelchair users and buggies, some purpose-built.

You can find out more by exploring the fantastic Discover Suffolk guides below, or by downloading the free Discover Suffolk app.
