Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteers play an invaluable role in helping us to conserve and enhance the AONB. We have a variety of opportunities to get involved in, from practical conservation to beach cleans.

Volunteer with us and make friends, learn new skills, get fit, fill a gap in your CV, get work experience and make a real difference to improving one of the UK’s outstanding landscapes.

Do you have some spare time to help care for the Coast & Heaths AONB?

Our volunteers are an invaluable resource enabling us to carry out important work that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to achieve.

There are various ways you can get involved and we will explain more about some of the roles you can take on:

For more information about volunteering with the AONB you can read our Volunteer Handbook (PDF). If you want to become a volunteer please complete the registration form online or fill out the form and email it to us.

For more information on any of the volunteering opportunities and roles within the AONB, please contact Countryside Project Officers Neil Lister or Emma Black.

Please note: Due to Covid-19 and government guidelines some of our volunteering activities will not be operating as usual. With current restrictions we may not be able to enrol new volunteers for some roles as we are at capacity.

We are, however, happy to put you on our reserve list and will contact you if any opportunities arise. Thank you for your understanding.
